Commencement Participation Policy

Students may participate in commencement if all degree requirements are completed or will be completed at the end of the spring semester, including the cross cultural experience and the CAAP examination.  


With all other requirements met, a student may participate in commencement if no more than 6 credits remain uncompleted.


Clearance for Participation

If you have been cleared for participation by the Registrar's office, you will be allowed to participate in commencement activities. Traditional undergraduate students will be able to pick up academic regalia at Reunion Zero on April 26, 2015. The last day to be cleared for participation is April 15, 2015.

Important Dates to Remember

April 8, 10:10 a.m.
Mandatory senior chapel meeting, NNU Little Theatre. You will be given event instructions.

April 15
Last day to clear for participation.

April 26, 7:30 p.m.
Reunion Zero, Brandt Center Lobby

April 28 – May 7, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Regalia may be picked up at the Registrar's Office for students who are cleared.

May 8, 7 p.m..
Baccalaureate Ceremony, Swayne Auditorium in the Brandt Center
Line up in the Leah Peterson Learning Commons. Wear cap, gown and honor cords, carry hood.

May 9, 2 p.m.
Final regalia pick up at Ford Idaho Center, behind the stage (where you will line-up). Enter through Entry 1 (main entrance) or Entry 5 (lower south side). Robes and hoods will be returned behind the stage on tables. You may keep your cap, tassel and honor cords.

May 9, 3 p.m.
Commencement, Ford Idaho Center
Line-up at 2:15 pm behind the stage. Wear cap, gown, hood and honor cords.
