Commencement Participation Policy
Up to 10 tickets per graduate
Students may participate in commencement if all degree requirements are completed or will be completed at the end of the spring semester, including the cross cultural experience and the CAAP examination.
With all other requirements met, a student may participate in commencement if no more than 6 credits remain uncompleted.
LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION is Friday, March 23, 2018
Clearance for Participation
If you have been cleared for participation by the Registrar's office, you will be allowed to participate in commencement activities. Traditional undergraduate students will be able to pick up academic regalia at Reunion Zero on Sunday, April 15, 2018. The last day to be cleared for participation is Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Important Dates to Remember
Wednesday, April 4, 10:10 a.m.
Mandatory senior chapel meeting, NNU Little Theatre. You will be given event instructions.
Wednesday, April 11
Last day to clear for participation.
Sunday, April 15, 3:00 p.m.
Reunion Zero, Brandt Center Lobby
You will receive your regalia & commencement tickets at this event.
April 16 - 22, 2018
Undistributed commencement tickets may be picked up at the Learning Commons Help Desk.
April 17 - May 3, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Regalia may be picked up at the Registrar's Office for students who are cleared.
April 23, 2018
Extra undistributed commencement tickets released until gone.
Friday, May 4, 7:00 p.m.
Baccalaureate, Brandt Center, Swayne Auditorium (no ticket necessary)
Line-up 6:15 p.m. in the Brandt Center Lobby
Saturday, May 5, 8:30 a.m.
Final regalia pick up at the Johnson Sport Center Fieldhouse.
Saturday, May 5, 9:30 a.m.
Commencement, JSC Gymnasium (ticket required)
Line-up at 8:45 a.m. in the field house (across the hall from the gymnasium). Wear cap, gown, hood and honor cords.
Live streaming will be available for those that are not able to attend.
