Northwest Nazarene University
Baccalaureate & Commencement 2016
The commencement ceremonies at Northwest Nazarene University combine academic pageantry, commencement addresses, and the achievement of significant life goals on the part of students and the University. We invite family members, friends of the graduates, and members of the larger community to join the University community in the activities listed in the calendar.
We take this time to reflect on NNU's mission: "The mission of Northwest Nazarene University is the transformation of the whole person. Centered in Jesus Christ, the NNU education instills habits of heart, soul, mind and strength to enable each student to become God's creative and redemptive agent in the world."
Planning for Baccalaureate and Commencement
Friday & Saturday, May 6 & 7, 2016
We have grown as a university and are no longer able to have a single commencement ceremony. As a result, new and wonderful ways to celebrate with our graduates are possible. Please plan to attend all of these special events. Below is information about the All-Campus Commencement Ceremonies.
We are excited to be moving our celebration back to campus and allowing our graduates and their families to see our beautiful spaces.
New Format & Times
The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) and the College of Adult & Graduate Studies (CAGS) are having separate ceremonies. We will have four major events. The times and details of each event are to the right. You can also view the full schedule.
